User only has one single post on these forums, claiming their steering "locked up" WHILE DRIVING and wouldn't allow them to steer, but won't come back to answer questions or clarify. Hmmm ...
My guess has been all along the lane departure steering assist, guess we will never know.

We'll give OP a few days to come back and update us. That's only fair.

2020 F150 4x4 Limited. 2024 GT Mustang Premium. Both in Rapid Red.
How did you pull off the road if you couldn't steer?

Why does the dealership owe you a free loaner vehicle?
The Dealerships around here always offer a Free Loaner Vehicle đźš—.
My 2020 F-150 4x4 Limited has to spend the Night because they updated the Cam Phasers & Brakes, unde Warranty.
They gave me a new Bronco.
I had a 2015 4x4 Platinum & they had to replace the rail on the Glass Roof.
It took almost a week to get the parts.
My Loaner was a new F-150.
One time I got a new Red Mustang GT Convertible.
I was a little Sluggish bring the GT back.
It’s common practice around here.
They want you to buy the Gas you use.
I will admit it’s rare if the vehicle has to spend the night.
The Dealerships want your business & there’s a lot of competition.
They only put on a few miles & sell them anyway.

There has to be a fail safe built in to meet safety standards globally. I think the only way a rack would seize is with catastrophic damage.
If the OP is genuine, I suspect having strongarm (manual) steering was a bit of a shock and he thought it had seized.
