  1. Front inner fender well damage

I posted regarding the hole directly behind the front wheels in the inner fender protection where stose and debris are getting trapped. I just made this video showing the damage that has begun in only 1000 miles and some of the potential long term issues that may occur. I removed the inner...
  2. Does anyone make jack rails for the S650 convertible yet?

Looks like the S550 rails will work for the coupe, but i'm not able to find any listed for the convertible? Has anyone found jack rails for the S650 convertible yet? Thank you!
  3. Front inner wheel well issues

You have to be carful with foam, it can hold moisture.
  4. Front inner wheel well issues

Certainly would, as long as it covers the opening. We all need to bring this up to the dealer and Ford so hopefully they fix the problem and then at least there would be a new inner wheel well to replace this one.
  5. Front inner wheel well issues

I'm going to work on it this Winter. It's crazy that after spending $70000 (all in) that we have to work on something this basic.
  6. Front inner wheel well issues

No, the 550 did not have this
  7. Front inner wheel well issues

All, I have posted this in some other threads regarding the 2024 mustang front inner wheel well openings. For those of you who are not aware, there is an opening directly behind each front wheel where stones, dirt, sand get tossed into. Once it goes in, there is no way for it to get out unless...
  8. How many are regretting

We dont regret the purchase but there are certainly things that are flat out design flaws as well as things that need to be improved. We have both, my wifes phone and mine synced, but the system always defaults to hers and I have to go through the process of selecting mine every time. To get...
  9. Bad Design Flaw??

So here is the design flaw I posted to youtube. One person said they were going just stuff rags in these openings??It seems that this doesn't bother some people, perhaps i'm crazy but this is doing damage to your car every time you drive it.
  10. Went to the local dealers to see a GT in person. Car looked amazing. Walked around and didnt see and fitment issues.

This is something I discovered after we got ours home and there is no way you would be able to see this at a dealership unless you got the car up on the lift. You will have to decide if this is something that would bother you
  11. Are any special tools needed or recommended to change the oil on the 5.0?

I cant speak to the size of the drain plug, but the access (in my opinion) you will need to remove the protection board. Not a big deal other than there are a couple of plastic panel rivets that need to be replaced each time. I posted a video earlier with regard to some issues I saw and have...
  12. Side Bottom Air Deflectors/Strikers

I was told that the convertible covers no longer came with the car but there were still available through Ford?
  13. Side Bottom Air Deflectors/Strikers

Wow, sorry to hear that. We didn't have anything like that but the protection board under the chassis was filled with gravel! It was a substantial amount and our drivers side wheels (Pirelli P Zeros)are permanently scratched, it wasn't obvious until we removed the poorly applied wheel dressing...
  14. Side Bottom Air Deflectors/Strikers

Yes, thank you! We will let the dealer know.
  15. Side Bottom Air Deflectors/Strikers

It’s a GT Convertible with the performance package.
  16. Side Bottom Air Deflectors/Strikers

Has anyone with the performance package received these in their trunk instead of being installed? These were in our trunk when we picked up the car, I kind of assumed they were some sort of licence plate mounting bracket. What exactly are they supposed to do? (please, let's not say deflect air -...
  17. Brand new convertible infested with gravel!

Did the 550 have the full length protection board with openings in the inner fender well directly behind the wheels?
  18. Brand new convertible infested with gravel!

So we just got our new GT convertible home last night from the dealer. I started looking at things on the under chassis this evening (looking at the jack points....) and discovered that the there are two openings directly behind the both front wheels where the black plastic rocker moldings meet...
