Hi folks, I'm thinking to install an oil cooler on my non-performance pack GT. I will go with ford's part. I saw a video on yt that someone installed it. What is this grease type substance the oil adaptor has? Is it anticorrosion grease ?Does it has to be flushed out prior installation ...

  3. Installing Steeda brake lines

Hi folks, I just installed the steeda brake lines. The lines feel much firmer at higher speeds but at very low speeds (< 20mph) seems to be a small ā€œgapā€ in the pedal. Unfortunately can’t remember how big that ā€œgapā€ was with the previous lines. But it seems that once the car has enough speed...
  4. Whistling noise upon acceleration

It's the intake. It happens after accelerating then it either goes away or the sound is covered by the exhaust sound. I have it too since day 0. Both in the old engine and new engine. I have the stock filters and I can hear it. If I remove the lids it becomes more noticeable.

  8. New Engine - Weird feeling - OBD2 connector live data

Hi Folks, As some of you know I got my engine replaced with a new one. Currently in the break in process and the engine has about 400 miles. No check engine light. Runs and feels great by 99.999% of the time . Few concerns Concern #1 There were few instances (3-4 times) where while I was...
  9. Break in period?

That’s exactly what i’m doing with my new engine. It’s an auto though. I use the shifters . Past the first 50 miles, 4000-4500 is my limit now. Once I hit 150-200 miles I will increase it to 5k or so…all accelerations are quite linear, nothing aggressive.
  10. 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC - Official Specs, Photos, Videos

kinda the front resembles a bit of Cadillac / BMW M2 ? or maybe not
  11. Break in period?

you should take it easily for the first couple hundred miles. use the paddle shifters to downshift and let the engine brake , lift off gas for same thing. avoid driving at constant rpms. Any acceleration make it more linear. Don't exceed 4k rpms the first 100-200 miles. Then increase the limit...

  13. Bad news & good news: engine replacement

My coolant turned to "aged wine" color at 4k miles....not sure if this is associate with the leak. BUT they did pressurize the coolant system over night and it dropped few psi. As a side note, I did personally checked with the madox kit but the color never changed ....tiny leaks might not shown...

  16. Bad news & good news: engine replacement

A combination of tiny gasket leaks, gasket wrap / worn piston rings / worn valve seals. All of the above at some extent...I assume all of them at the microscopic level since no visible leaks were present but over time the fluid levels were going down.... I was at the verge of lemoning it and...
  17. Bad news & good news: engine replacement

Long story short I had made few posts in the past about coolant levels reduction, coolant discoloration & engine oil level reduction. No check engine lights , car run great. Dealer in the past had claimed that all these are normal since they did't find any leaks..but I was not convinced. I...
  18. Steeda stop the hop kit - upgrade question

Currently I have installed the "Street Starter" (#4455) and it has been great so far. I want to upgrade to the handling pack. Based on Steeda's table I will have to add vertical links (#4121) , rear toe links (#4120) and diff bushing inserts (4443). The later one might increase the noise and I'm...
