Mine was replaced for way less on a 2022 Ecoboost. Plastic cover, plastic impact absorber, metal beam, and the rear sheet metal (removed/replaced spot welded), including paint for less than $5,000 US. All Ford parts.
I had an uninsured driver hit the rear of my 2022 S550 (rare manual 6 speed) Ecoboost. My insurance company took care of everything, except for collision deductible and diminished value. They said my premiums would go up if I wasnāt the rated driver, was using the car for commercial purpose...
Rock Auto online (I mentioned that in my previous post and had you ordered then, youād have it by this weekend) $5.59. Otherwise yes Ford dealer where itās twice the price but local and available.

Make sure to get the SN Plus oil, itās the newer spec (the older spec is SN). Best price I found for the newer Full Synthetic Motorcraft is at Rock Auto. Buy 12 and they send a full case. Motorcraft full synth only comes by the quart or drum (no 5 quart option like the semi synth). Their prices...
Probably a good idea if in warranty (if that matters to you) to have them install it. I am trying to evaluate my options. $600 is a bit steep for both sides (passenger/dirty and driver/clean) especially if the driver side is always empty. I'd say driver/clean side is a good idea if you have...
With electric motors and AWD, what would the front/rear weight bias be? Something north of 60/40? Also, packaging, could all that fit? Maybe thatās why the C8 had the big move to mid/rear engine. Could Ford use a rear transaxle for weight bias (GTD for the masses)? Is that the reason for the...
The main reason to sell right there. Weāve got x2 6 speed manuals, an S550 and an S650. Love them.
Both are V8ās. Note, the āyellowā (itās actually cyber orange) one is a GT/CS āCalifornia Specialā (which has no 5.0 badge on the fenders).
Itās hard to tell since thereās also clouds in your pic, which is atypical in AZ. šš¤£š
Iād have to see it in person, but it does look like the pics in this link.

I look at it like getting a nose job (rhinoplasty), they have the break it to look better. Unlike a nose, Mustang (or cars in general) donāt heal. Therefore, I donāt look at it as a fix, but breaking, melting, bending, hammering, glueing, clipping to look better.
I may be the outlier hereā¦
One thing I like about the Mustang, especially the GT is theyāre relatively cheap. You really do get a lot for the money. So I donāt have lofty expectations. Iāve got some Ford fixable flaws, the plastic (side skirt and bumper) to metal body panel gaps are horrendous...
My son was looking at the older GT500ās, maybe 2014? The ones with manual transmission not the newer ones with DCT. He likes GT350ās but only with Gen 2 engine. But for less money, he then was thinking about S550 with a whipple. I am not as up on all the models/years/features/issues as he is.
I...
I donāt like how much people stress over gaps and squeaks with mass produced cars. Iād have loftier expectations if it was a car that was 10x the price of a Mustang.
Here in AZ we have a lot of uninsured, which bothers me A LOT. I try to be a good citizen and have the same expectation of...
Iāve been to Alpioās place during events. Nice guy, nice place, nice collection. Not for cars and coffee yet. My plan is to build a GT40 with my son as my next car/project and bring it to cars and coffee to be along side Ferraris. If itās still around, Iād go there then.
