I have an appointment set for alignment after installing steeda progressive lowering springs.

I tried looking this up in the forums but is there anything I should say or specifically express to the shop to get it dialed in?

I know I need them to tinker with camber and toe but I really dont know what specifically to tell them.

I sound like a noob with this post, sorry about that.

Chat gpt said not to get it back to factory spec because the suspension is no longer factory.

I appreciate any input. Thank you.

If you have not installed camber plates or camber bolts, the front camber is what it is, no adjustments other than toe (usually set to 0). The rear has adjustment and should be able to get to specs if you haven't lowered it too much. Going with the specs (in the manual) in the rear should be fine for a street driven car. If the front camber is more than 2 you may want to consider camber plates.

Good luck and enjoy your Mustang.

Hi,
Here’s my setup after lowering :
ALIGNMENT (Aggressive Street)
• Front Camber: -1.3° (min I could get without installing camber bolts)
• Front Toe: +0.08° Total (Toe IN)

• Rear Camber: -1.6°
• Rear Toe: +0.22° Total (Toe IN)
• Cross camber: ≤ 0.1°
• Cross toe: ≤ 0.02°

I’m pretty happy with this setup, car drives great.

It really depends what you are looking for: Steeda’s street set up is great for daily comfort.
I prefer a bit heavier steering and bit higher tire consumption, but with a bit better front end precision and a more tied down car in faster highway drives.
