Do you know what belt size is needed for the 78mm? I've got a K060705 coming Monday just in case.
OP stated elsewhere that stock belt works with that pulley.

Took the car to Cincy Street Nights. First time the car has seen the drag strip and also the first time I have ever legally raced at a track. The car ran 7.09 at 113 and 7.08 at 112 with 1.809 and 1.805 60’ on MT ET Street SS 305/35/20 tires @15 psi. I’m not too happy with my performance. I didn’t get any practice and I feel the car could have left a lot harder since the surface was prepped. Even with the stop the hop kit I still experienced some minor rear wheel hop in fist gear.

Car in drag mode.

Advance trac and traction control off

Light burnout to warm the tires. Just enough to get some smoke.

I left the line at about 1500 rpm and eased into the throttle. Car has 3.55 gears.

Car didn’t bog.

Anyone have any advice to improve? Could it be the lack of transmission tuning allowing torque management to take away power down low? Do I need to use a different mode?

My thoughts are that a car that is capable of a 60-130 in 5.5-6.0 seconds should be able to run 6.50-6.70 in the 1/8.

Took the car back to the track for testing a couple weeks ago. My tuner advised launching in 2nd gear. I have the stock converter but was able to cut a 1.6x 60 foot 3 times in a row leaving from idle in 2nd. I’m not trying to break the transmission so I’m not going to “launch” from a higher RPM until it’s built and I have a Circle D converter.
1/8th mile times were in the 6.7x all 3 runs.
The car then did its thing down the track until I hit the 900-950 foot mark where it cut power drastically all 3 times as it shifted into 6th. On a car that should trap over 140 the highest trap speed I could get was 129 mph. Very strange. My tuner said it was most likely transmission torque limitations pulling back power. The car still ran 10.4, 10.6 and 10.4 e.t. even with the power cutting out.
I believe all of that is sorted out now so I will go back and try again this coming Friday.

how was your experience getting the supercharger installed at Lebanon? I was thinking about going through them for a kit on my '26

Really good. Very good group of guys and they install a lot of superchargers so they have it down to a science.

Quick update on the build and some information about the driving characteristics.

Car now has 7800 miles on it and I’ve pushed on it a few times this summer. No issues other than hitting a coyote (oh the irony) and needing an entire front bumper/splitter replacement.

Car is now fully street tuned on e85 and I also installed OPG and CS earlier in the spring for peace of mind. At 3500 miles the OEM parts that came out showed no signs of damage or abnormal wear.

The car runs consistent 5.6 second 60-130 times in 1800+ DA 85+ degree weather on soft street tires - NT05’s that spin from 60-75 mph. I start those rolls at 40 in 3rd gear. I have had the car over 175 mph but it seems the Roush cooling components aren’t up to the task and the IAT’s sky rocket quickly and pull timing and eventually close the throttle blades. Logs show the post blower coolant temps above 180*F when this happens. I’ve had this happen in every drag strip 1/4 mile run except one. In that one run the car had a 141.5 mph trap speed. I’m thinking of trying a 3.15 rear pumpkin replacement and a triple pass heat exchanger. I may also ask my tuner to turn the shift point down from 7800 to 7500 to slow the blower down now that I’m on a 78 mm pulley. If I continue to have cooling issues I will be installing an Interchiller.

This October I will be roll racing at Edgewater Raceway in Cincinnati in a national Street Takeover event. I’ll be using Nitto R2 drag radials and hopefully the lower fall season temps keep the heat soak at bay. The MT ET Street SS rears that I ran lasted 1000 miles on the street and 4 drag runs. At $500+ each i can’t support that habit.

Future install plans are a 4 point roll cage, rear seat delete and chassis mounted rear diffuser as well as a set of 20” Velgen VF9 wheels in gloss silver to break up all the black. I hope to have all of these parts in by the end of this month.

a triple pass heat exchanger.
Not being that familiar with having installed any of this stuff, have others brought down their high speed IAT significantly be installing this triple pass heat exchanger, or are you experimenting on your own?

I searched and found lots of hopes, aspirations, and marketing, but no results from folks who installed them.

180° F is really high.
