Looking good so far. Have my GT on order. Already amassing parts. lol. Will do a build thread as well. Did an extensive one on my 15GT. Keep up the good work. Will be watching the progress.

Hey thanks! I do friggen love the feel of this MGW shifter. Much more connected feel to the car while shifting. Imma do a video eventually here to show the reduction. I am working on wearing it in a little more. In my experience, the MGWs loosen up slightly over the first week or so.

Got the springs swapped in and the rest of the RTR items added. Springs May settle a little more but this is the minimum drop kit from Steeda.

Looks great. How was install of the chin splitter and side splitters? Did you have to remove full front bumper or you were able to install with bumper on car?

The chin splitter was actually fairly easy taking about 30 mins if you go fast and did not require the removal of the front bumper. You will need jack/jack stands/lift, ratchet, extension, 7mm socket, a trim removal tool, and maybe a small flat head screwdriver (for the transfer of clips from the stock splitter to the RTR). Be prepared for the removal of a ton of 7mm screws to remove the under cover for access. An electric ratchet helps greatly with this.
The side splitters were about 20-30 mins each and not difficult. They do require drilling into the stock pieces, so it does create a permanent mod to the car. You will need jack/jack stands/lift, trim removal tool, drill/drill bits (as per RTR instructions), ratchet, and a 10mm socket.
Note: I do have a quick jack so it takes me a bit less time getting the car in the air and I can get it far higher in the air than the typical jack. I also have jacking rails so I don't have to use the jack stand points in RTR's instructions (for the side splitters). if you are using jacks and jack stands, it may take slightly longer.
All in all I am happy with the look. I do wish RTR would design these items with the same texture as the stock trim, especially the side and rear pieces since they mount onto the existing trim.

Awesome response. Thanks for the notes. I'm hoping to go to a buddies house that has a four post lift to drive up on and use. So hopefully that will help.

I didn't realize they were same texture. But still looks really good. I haven't ordered the rear pieces as I wasn't sure if it would look weird with just the front and sides and not the rear pieces or if it would look weird not having them.

Thanks! Rides just like stock, just a little stiffer. Not bad at all though. They don’t have the initial softness of a progressive set so they are the same throughout their travel. The car stays a little flatter too under hard acceleration vs with the stock springs the front would lift a good bit.

Been a bit since I updated this thread  . Suspension is done and car is about done until I add additional rear subframe support, if needed, and additional power if/when third party tuning is available. I haven’t decided on the current option, Whipple, at this time as I’d like to see the Pro-Charger kit and ESS once tuning is available for them. Time will tell. Either way, time for my favorite Mustang pastime….Appalachian Mountain cruising with the windows down, listening to the glorious sound of my Mustang with the Corsa Exhaust  .
