Is there a strut tower brace that can be used with the whipple supercharger? Having mine installed soon and I currently have a brace from SR Performance installed.

Do they want you to remove the insulation on the underside of the hood. If they do be cautious, with no insulation, it’s a matter of time before the clearcoat on the hood starts spiderweb and cracking from too much heat.

You need to delete this idiocy. The under hood liner is a fire blanket. Its not meant to protect the hood paint from under hood temps...lol

This is that shit google picks up and returns as results that AI uses to make recommendations to unsuspecting idiots.

First off I don’t appreciate you calling me an idiot. Second off I don’t use Google or AI to make my comments. I use them from experience. Go ahead. Take the insulation off you’ll see.

I take that off day one minute one and have for 30 years on the 50+ cars I've owned. So tell me again, how soon should I see spider web cracking of the clearcoat? LOLOLOL My man, just take a break.

There is one from VMP but it's made of carbon fiber and thin. People say it does not have structural strength and does not function like the metal one. This is one reason if I go forced induction I'd want to use ProCharger setup. Other option is a different hood. Nice strut brace BTW.

How do you mean a "fire blanket"? Would you explain a bit further? I have not heard this before about hood liners.

When your engine catches on fire, the hood liner supposedly melts and lands on the fire putting it out.

It might melt but it doesn't do jack shit as far as putting the fire out
