Yep. There was nothing about a screw in the Form video. Just did mine 2 weeks ago.

I did the reverse light with a 4th brake light also. It was easier, just more 7mm screws.
Did you have any issue with the 4th brake reverse light? I have 2 that I cannot get the connector to the light to mate.

Only did the side markers (front/rear). Rear markers hopefully in May, so I can't help you right now.

On a side note: I believe I read an issue with some of the rear lights connectors, Google it.

The connector was very tight. Use a bit of dielectric grease and it will slide together. Took me probably 3-4 times to get them to mate up. After that it works flawlessly.

I bought LED Side Markers for my car, and most videos have them pop-out with ease. The rears popped right out as expected. However, I couldn't get the front ones to come out. At all. So I went the 'official' way to remove the fender liner. I found out the front 2 actually are screwed in (no wonder they didn't pop-out). Not sure if this is for 2026 models, but I figured to share this here.

Top picture is the back of the OEM side marker, taken from inside the fender. Bottom picture is the screw.

Sorry for the dumb question, but how were you able to reach behind the fender liner and unscrew the bolt? I can’t seem to get any space to do so and I turned the wheel inwards as well. Thank you for the help!

It wasn't easy. But yes, turn the wheel inwards, remove the fender liner and from there one I used my cell phone as a camera to identify the screw. It's a bit awkward but doable. Much easier if you have 2 people.

Thanks!!! I’ll give it a try, did you just use a regular torx screwdriver or a different kind of tool to get it off? Thank you again, I usually never get any help from forums lol.

Regular torx screwdriver. It wasn't overly tight for me, so it came out easily.

I changed my markers to smoke LED. I did not have any screws...they were in tight; I just used a fork pry on it, and they popped out rather easily then.

Yeah, that's what most videos are showing. I have a 2026 so I assume that it's a MY26 change.
