Forscan - activate the shift light indicator

I have a 2024 s650 performance pack. I know that some 10 speed s650s have hidden away the shift light indicator in the software. Is the shift light indicator only on s650 cars newer than 24? I want to activate the shift light indicator but in my research ive found that some have it and some dont.

You can activate it with Forscan, in the APIM and IPC under easy mode called Performance Shift Indicator. Afterward you turn it on in the MyMustang section.

To run it on MacBook you’d have to install a virtual machine of Windows on the Mac since Forscan is primarily made to run on Windows. Overall it is doable via Parallels, but it’s all kind of tedious.
(I’d recommend a windows though.

You risk bricking the module you are modifying if the connection suddenly disconnects if on Bluetooth,

You’d 99% be better off doing wired connection

I was able to to run it on my Macbook pro M1 using "Wine Stable" as an intermediary, googled it and found a quick and easy video, all free. I updated the speedometer display, added shift indicator, added external temp warning, and enabled walk away locks. Haven't used it in a while since several OS upgrades though. Definitely hard wire the connection for stability, lots of examples of people having problems with bluetooth connections.

Thank you for the info on that, I'll have to see if I can find the "Wine Stable" that you mention. It might be tedious but for now thats the only option I have.
