Did a thing! Now I'm regretting it?

Well, I finally broke down and purchased a supercharger for my 2025 Mustang GT. I went with a stage one Whipple (will do the upgrade from 1 to 2 after the warranty expires). I cannot wait for it to come in and be installed. However, I am now having my usual buyer's remorse and second guessing my choices. I wonder if I should have gone with the Roush instead. The main reason being i love that whine. I did order the open air boxes from Whipple which supposedly make their system sound more like the Roush but I am not sure how effective it will be in that regard. Opinions? Suggestions?

I got the Whipple I don't regret it.
The whine is inefficiency as cool as it sounds its heat.

You can get mods for the Whipple to hear the whine in the cabin with an intake tube thing but

You mentioned the warranty so I'll assume you're having the SC installed.

I recommend the following....

1. Don't overthink your decision.
2. Receive Whipple, have it installed.
3. Pick up Mustang when complete.
4. Go easy for the first outing and double check *fluid levels (even though someone else installed). * Coolant, Heat Exchanger coolant, and SC oil level. I self installed my FP Whipple SC for my own piece of mind and enjoyment. Read the installation instructions so you understand what to keep an eye on.
5. Let her rip - This can happen the same day as the first outing after all levels are confirmed.
6. This is the point where your second guessing will evaporate.
7. If whine is a must, get the Foster Whine Mod as stated in post above.


I don't think you'll ever hear anyone say the following after installation "Dang I wish I had a Roush SC instead of a Whipple. To be fair I think the same applies to Roush when installed. In all honesty, both brands will put a smile on your face.

This "regret" will last about until the 3rd time you press the loud pedal with any degree of authority OR, until you throttle it hard enough - probably 1/4 - 1/3, to break the tires loose and keep spinning for as long as you want.
