I'm back again. I'm still having problems with my seat positions. I used all of your suggestions, which were great, and thanks for not saying I don't understand cuz I'm a girl. When I exit the car, I hit position #3, but when I get back to it's back to position #1 (my driving position). My husband keeps telling me it's connected to my key fob, so my question is, is there a workaround? He tells me before I get back in the car hit position #3 so the seat will move back. Is it that archaic? or am I looking for something that doesn't exist?

It should stay on whichever setting it was on when you last exited the vehicle. But if you’re both using different key fobs and taking turns driving the car I imagine it would default to position 1 each time you open it with a different key fob from last time - I don’t have any practical experience of this myself though.

To test this you could swap your position 1 and 3 settings I guess.

Have you tried deleting all driver profiles in the car and starting from scratch?

I know the behaviour you're supposed to get is that the seat remains in the preset position you last chose - so in your case it should be on profile 3 when you get back into the car. Perhaps a low battery issue but I'd assume there would be warnings if that was the case.

I can easily tell if I've left mine on preset 3 (which I have set to dipped mirrors for reversing) as my tire pressure on preset 3 displays in KPA, whereas in preset 1 I have them set to display in PSI, so on my loading screen it's obvious to me which preset I'm in.

Is it going to position #3 or could this perhaps be the issue?

Is the car still running when you press setting 3? Last setting used is remembered when starting

We haven’t setup fob profiles but do use the memory buttons. 1 has my seating and mirror preferences and 2 has hers and 3 has her exit settings. She stored seat way back to memory 3 and uses that when she gets out. It stays that way even when i get in with my fob. I gotta hit memory button 1 in order for the seat to move into position enough to fully depress the clutch and reach the ignition button. I Almost feel like a little kid who can’t reach the pedals and get that racer ready feeling once it’s adjusted to my preference. Easy exit isn’t enabled

I missed the first discussion. Can you give a more thorough explanation of what its doing so I can try to help?

Also, do you have a saved driver profile? If so, is it tied to the seat position you prefer? Because your saved profile likely isn't tied to the #3 button.

So I'm only 5"2" tall, so the steering wheel is fairly close for driving, and it's hard for me to get out of the car. I took the suggestion to turn off the entry/exit function, but I'm still having problems. I programmed button #3, where I would like to be, for me to get out of the car. The next time I get in the car, it's back in my driving position. My husband's suggestion is to press #3 before I enter the car, so the seat will go back so I can get in the car, but I don't always remember to do that, and then I'm having problems getting in the car, especially if I'm carrying things. I just thought the group would know of a workaround, being short is really a problem lol.

Ok, I get it now. I dont think there is a work around for this. Are you using #3 to move the seat back in order to get in? If so, maybe try adjusting the telescope on the steering wheel instead. Or maybe just manually put the seat back before you get out, and then just use another program button to get the seat back to where you like it when you get back in.

I think that's exactly what the Easy entry and exit feature is for. Instead of using a different memory spot for it, let the car move the seat for you.
