Just got smoked by what I would assume was a............

Sitting at a stop light outside of town and this newer charger pulls up right before the light turned green. Took a quick glance but he had his fully tinted windows up so I couldn't get a look at the driver. Light turned green and we both took off. I got the jump about a car length or so, I assume due to his having traction issues.... Anyway, hit second gear with the lead and then he came on, strong. Within another second or so, he was passing and then long gone. Once I saw that I let off, he continued on and disapeared, LOL. I haven't lined up with any r/t or srt's so I am not sure but I did see a video or two where the GT beat both the 5.7 and the 6.4. So, I can only assume this one was supercharged. He also had some kind of performance shop stickers on about half of his rear window.

That will humble you real quick. And chill......we were safe about it, no other cars incoming or in front, actually none behind either.

It was fun but makes me want a super charger!

Sounds to me like it was a Hellcat variant. I got smoked by one exactly how you described, lol. I've raced/beat stock Scat Packs and from a dig they will pull but once you get into top of 2nd into 3rd gear, you'll start gaining. I've got the 10-speed auto. You'll beat any stock Challenger/Charger w/stage 2 Whipple or Centrifugal supercharger assuming you can hook up. Stay safe!

It wasn't that new. I have seen a few of those it wasn't one of them.

So true regarding your supercharger comment. The increase in performance is huge and well worth the price of admission (no regrets)! I self installed my FP/Whipple SC for peace of mind.

True on the stage 2 Whipple - A stage 1 will smoke them too... not even a race.

Previous. I would say 2022-23, maybe. Not the newest model.

everything in the eyes of the beholder i suppose.....but i agree 100%. challengers just look like big fat landboats to me. the front end is delicious with the headlight/grille action, rest of the vehicle doesnt do it for me. Ford really did a great job with the S650. Even after two years of ownership i really appreciate the dimensions and angles vs other american muscle cars

More than likely was a Hellcat of some variant. Scat’s and R/T’s will only compliment your Tail Lamps .. if they choose to speak when you stop or when you finally slow down. My interaction had the dude pulling off the freeway exit all fast and ish!!

no gt will beat any RT, Scat Pack or new Charger unless highly modded. Won't even be close. Want to go faster? Get a supercharger.
