Yeah and I was on the Corvette C5 Factory Race Team, and Corvette Museum Lifetime Member and still it was what it was....it was well worth the wait, loved that car....hate the new C8 Corvettes as I say if I want a Ferrari I will buy a Ferrari....not a clone.

I ordered mine on 04/17 haven’t received any email, not a VIN and still waiting. Also, I would like to know how you negotiate price when ordering through a dealer? Are you paying MSRP? Invoice? Or you wait for the car to get to the dealer to negotiate?

I ordered mine on 4/8 and I had a confirmation email the same day or day after. On 4/18 I received another email saying my Mustang would be built the week of 6/22, which is where it stands now. I negotiated the price with my local dealership the day I ordered and gave them a $500 deposit. But all the loan paperwork will be done when I pick it up. I received about $5035 off of the MSRP. WHEN I go to pick it up and do loan paperwork there could possibly be some more dealer goodies thrown in, but a combination of DEALER DISCOUNT and REBATE was slightly over $5000.

Are you sure the order was placed? Normally there will be an email from Ford to you confirming your order. What did you receive from the dealer confirming that the car was ordered, and ordered as you want it?

I would have thought that you would make the May scheduling for builds in July, and thus receive your build week and VIN.

As for pricing, you should have negotiated that before placing the order. I am a preferred customer with my dealer, but still had to do some negotiating before placing the order back in early Jan 2025. I did not have to put down a deposit but did have a copy of the agreed price, which was 4% below invoice. Car was built in March 2025, and delivered in April at the agreed price.

No, just an order form. Already talked to the dealer. They will be getting back to me some kind of confirmation. Still worried abut that.

I haven’t paid anything in advance for ordering the cart, the sales manager is a good friend of my uncle and he told me we will get the best price possible.
