Does anyone have a sunscreen that fits and is durable? If so where did you get it? Thanks

I purchased this one, good fit. The top has a little strip of velcro at the top of the slit so it stays up real well. Folds up and has a round little sleeve it slips right into.

My Mustang is not a daily driver and resides in my garage unless out on a spirited drive in fair weather. Given that, I'm unable to recommend sun shades specific to S-650's.

I have a word of caution regarding reflective windshield sun shades. My DD is a 24' F-150. I retained the last and final sun shade (non-reflective) from my previous 18' F-150 and now use it in my 24'.

I installed a THINKWARE F800 Pro dashcam (front & rear cameras) in my previous 2018. Several years after the install I started having overheating shutdown issues with the dash cam (summer in parking mode). Prior years never an issue. I started by checking the interior cabin temps near and around the dash cam and quickly discovered the problem. Prior years no sun shade, no issues. Overheating issue started after I began using a reflective sun shade. Threw the reflective sun shade in the trash! Purchased a non-reflective sun shade and the overheating issues were gone like the POS sun shade. I don't recall the exact temps. I do remember there was a significant temperature delta between reflective shade and non-reflective shade (around the dash cam).

Think about this for a minute. The reflective shade is on the inside of the vehicle directing the intense sun onto the interior side of the windshield.

Reflective sun shades are a bad idea!

I've got the UVS100 from Covercraft. It fits great and does an excellent job.

would that potentially (with a little misalignment and or pressure due to misfit or installation/removal) melt the glue holding the rearview assembly in place?

I bought* the Ford official one, and the Mustang is my daily driver, most everything is black (Shadow Black with the Nite Pony Package) and I live in Texas, so it's... Useful... To reduce the interior temperature. Or at least keep it hot enough to boil water. It's a good fit and so far has been durable.

*Bought, well, it's a little expensive, but I was bored of being hit in the face by the collapse / exploding type of screen, so I used my Ford Points to buy it. This said, I only think I wouldn't pay full price for it until I'm hit in the face by a collapsible windshield screen thing.

It also clarifies what the vehicle is to anyone who doesn't recognize that mahoosive hood, lol.

+1 for the Ford Mustang version. It’s by cover craft and has soft edges and a bag, works good. Used my points and got two - one for each car.

I got one from Heat shield. I think I was the first one for the S650. They had to measure and get the dimensions. It was $50 about 2 years ago.

I also have the Ford one and after owning it and several others over the years, I recommend it regardless of price.

I’ve only used Covercraft for the last 20+ years. They’re a little pricey and bulky but they are insulated and do a good job of reflecting the radiant heat as well as keeping the sun off the dash.
