OK, so I'm slow on the uptake.
But drag mode, wow! Found a quiet stretch of road and gave it a shot. Damn, that's fun, and vicious. I don't know why you'd need LC on this car, 10 metres of moderate wheelspin to keep it from bogging, a bit of spin going into 2nd and 3rd, and those shifts are awesome. I didn't time it, but it did seem to get to 120 kmh pretty quick compared to my recent cars.
The other thing was remote start via the app. The town we went to gets quite cold, down to 2C on Saturday night and the hotel parking was outside.
I didn't know the app start also turned on the heated seats and wheel, and set the demisters going as well as the HVAC.
We had a nice toasty car to drive off in the morning.
Why can't some other manufacturers sort this stuff out on their mid range cars? I'm looking at you Mr VAG.
