Wish the Mustang GT Premium had the auto fold side mirror package. As far as I can tell it does not. This would be very hellpful when parkin car in tight garage space. What are your thoughts on this matter? May a small detail but really would assist driver when entering tight spaces.

A folding mirror option is nice (Have this on the wife's RX500h)... My garages are narrow too.. but something that I feel would be more valuable is a front camera with parking sensors. I'd even take a camera above the pony logo without sensors. I know there's a European company that makes the add-on, but I'm not interested in tearing apart the car, and punching through the firewall, etc. They'll probably add it in the next few years and then I'll feel like I need to buy one. 🤣.

The European side mirrors have auto fold. Don't know why the American ones don't.
Same thing with my girl's Bronco Sport. Vehicles in other markets have them, but the US versions don't.

100% agree and was puzzled that they'd add sensors to the rear and not the front, especially since since the hood curves down making it tricky to know where the nose is when parking. Have the front/rear camera/sensors on our CX-5 and it's awesome for parking in tight spots. I would have thought front sensors on the Mustang would have made more sense than rears.

I would think it's cheaper and easier to make everything the same. The only reason why Europeans have auto fold is because the mirrors there are bigger and not zoomed out. Maybe the size of the mirrors there are not legal in the US?? Have no clue, but the European mirrors are bigger and have auto fold

Not sure why. One of the guys on the Bronco Sport forum ordered mirrors with the motors built into them, installed them and made some FORScan changes and they work perfectly now. Same thing would need to be done to the Mustang if someone really wants them.

The Mustang needs a different door harness to make that work.

Why don't we have them? Simple answer is.... NHTSA mandates. I'm not Nostredamus, but I'd bet we'll eventually see folding mirrors here too. I'd also bet mandated dash cams will come before the mirror option. We all ready have cabin voice recording on a lot of Detroit, vehicles, so why not video as well? As I've said here before, Big Brother is alive and well!

Standard here too, and our cars are EX-USA in RHD.
I did fit sensors, which the installer f**ked up big time. So I bought an aftermarket cam which works OK, and was easy to fit. There's just a problem of where to put the display that looks good.

In built dash tyre pressure read out was different to calibrated digital gauge Read out. 18 months ago I purchased the Tyredog TD 1800 TPMS unit. Shows pressure and tyre temps on the one screen (metric or imperial). It is also the first unit with built in vibration analysis, which alerts if a wheel (audible alert and flashes on affected wheel) drops a balance weight etc etc. Frees up drivers screen for the next readout after tyre pressure readout.

What I did, and others as well, is use the third drivers position for the power seats. Turn the mirrors down to where you want them and save the setting. When you want to park just choose #3 and once parked select #1. Glenn
