Take the wheels and tyres back, get them to spin up the wheels without tyres. that'll isolate the problem.
It's not unknown for even premium tyres to have the occasional dud.

Did you have them road forced balanced?

Any wheel that takes more than 2 ounces of weight needs to be broken down and spun 180 degrees on the wheel and rebalanced.

Most shops won't do that, mine does.

I’m not sure if my dealership has a road force balance machine. I left a message for the advisor, waiting for him to get back to me.

If DiscountTire can't balance them, nobody can
Taking off the fronts now and putting the stock wheel and tires back on. Gonna test to see if there’s any difference. Going to leave the steeda and contis on the rear

Update everyone. After putting the stock front wheels and tires and leaving the steeda and contis on the rear, the shake in the steering wheel is gone at all speeds. So this helps me completely narrow it down to the fronts being the issue. Hopefully I can resolve the rest without it being a substantial headache.

As a person who for some reason has had vibrations, uneven tire wear and alignment issues on several brand new cars (not Mustangs) I know full well the frustration you are experiencing. It looks like you did some good diagnostic troubleshooting so if you continue along in same way, you will resolve it. Just be logical and if something isn't adding up, start from square one again. Don't assume anything. Best of luck!

My first reaction was bad wheels. Ive heard many stories about aftermarket rims having defects and poor balance. Those Conti Extreem Sport Contact 2s are great tires. I have a hard time believing you got two bad ones. But stranger things have happened. Let us know how it goes.

I agree. I’m leaning more towards a wheel issue. Going to try and get these fronts up to discount tire and have them put back on the balancer to see.

I should probably start looking into if steeda will cover the wheel(s)

Great. That puts it all on the tyre guys.

Maybe now install just one of the Steeda wheels at a time and go drive.

ask if they can measure vertical and horizontal run out. The tire may need to come off for the vertical check.

Basically you mount the wheel, put a fixed, non marring tool right up against the wheel edge and rotate. none of them are perfect, the question is whether the run out is acceptable. You need to measure from and on both sides;

You could additionally try 1 of each "new" wheel/tire combo to see if only one or both wheels contribute vibration. Make sure you can identify each new wheel. mount one on the driver's side, test. mount the 2nd on the driver's side, test. Repeat for the passenger side. You may have only one combination that's problematic. If that is the case... you could switch tires and retest the one new wheel that was 'bad'. if it still vibrates, likely the wheel. Then put the other new combo on with your original on the other side and test again. If it vibrates, then very likely the tire.

@Nik691 .... yes, but once the tires are on the rims you have introduced several variables. The installers should have checked the rims when they were "bare" - before installing the tires. Trying to now possibly balance a bad rim is not a good situation. TBH I'd remove the tires and ensure the rims are good. Then install the tires. If too many weights have to be used at that point then I'd want a new tire. Good luck.
