If that were true, folks would be doing the Dark Horse Whipple and simply adopting the GT500 cooling modifications.

It isn't that simple.

Note the speculation that the new Nurburgring time by the GTD was accomplished with a 1000 horsepower brought courtesy of . . . drum roll, please . . . a Whipple. And, um, no overheating for pushing about as hard as can be on the Nurburgring. The GTD has all sorts of extra cooling capacity.
You can bench race and speculate all you want. I'll be driving and enjoying my car.

Still trying to decide between the Dark Horse-HP 6sp vs the new SC. Love the Dark Horse build I’ve found, pricing is solid, and includes painted stripes.
My issue is, I know the DH SC is $105k plus another $20k markup. That’s $125k vs $74k. I can’t imagine the SC being $50k more fun than the DH.
Same dilemma. I'd be about a year out on one due to unending legal drama with my Ex (PSA young men: don't procreate with crazy, no matter how hot she is).

ADMs are just such BS. I got my 2014 GT500 at sticker and had negotiated 3K over on a '22 that Ford couldn't build thanks to the F150 Raptor R sharing the Predator hand-built production line. For my next Mustang I'd rather row my own gears but hearing about major cooling issues with Whipple enhanced Dark Horses gives me pause. Ford should absolutely put the slightly larger bore 5.2 in the DH, it would increase the appeal more and differentiate from the regular Coyote more and it's disappointing Ford has not done so.

The initial interest in the Dark Horse has faded so the ADM issue is non-existent with the non-SC cars going forward. So getting one at sticker at most and doing Ford Custom Garage factory Whipple install wouldn't be an issue.

The dilemma comes in if there are known issues with overheating versus likely extensive cooling system upgrades on the Dark Horse SC. The other issue is resale value down the road between the two. Supercharging a Dark Horse from the Custom Garage program will likely land in the low 90s whereas an SC will be 108K if you score the rare MSRP deal. What all is different for the cost increase? Bigger brakes? Carbon fiber pieces?

Also, will the '27 non-SC Dark Horses be offered in Argon Blue or will that be an exclusive color to the SC?

I was all in on the DHSC until they announced the price. I was/am willing to pay up to $100k for it, but over that price and I'm just looking at different types of cars than a Mustang (which I still love). And NO WAY am I ever paying over MSRP for anything, which I'm sure dealers will be demanding for the DHSC for months to come or longer. Found my DH for a great price well under MSRP and plan to mod it and just have fun. I don't need to be the fastest guy on the street, I hit the drag strip from time to time, and I don't race on road courses anymore.

Also, I don't see Grabber Blue as an option in the new builds!

Buy a Dark Horse and supercharge it yourself. Just as fast way cheaper and still have warranty.
Best way to go, 650 SC is a waste of money, buy a Dark Horse add supercharger would save you bucks! My opinion, but if you have plenty of bucks, then fine minding your own business! Lol!

I have a GT Premium on order and the dealer called to say that Ford is not accepting any more orders for Grabber Blue and that I would have to pick another exterior color.
The sad thing is that they replaced Grabber Blue with just yet another shade of gray, like almost every vehicle on the road these days.

If you want the ECU to put the car in limp mode after 5-10 minutes on track, then, well, I suppose your solution is an excellent one. Congratulations, you just made a track focused pony car that you can't drive on the track.
