Got a great deal on an Ecoboost Premium. Car has just about every option for great price. Can hit 60 probably faster than the subpar tires could handle and can hit 70 to 100+ ridiculously fast car is fast as all get out. I don't really care myself, I could have got the GT for 200 more a month on the lease but no thanks it was just a base model. Could I have got the GT sure, I could have got the ZL1 Camaro or LT2 Corvette also but damn they are pricey. 72k for a 2026 Dark horse GT? Naw no thanks that is stupid money, sure it sold now but where are you going to use that power? Love to have it but I already have the V8 anyway, I love both GM and Ford cars so have both one is every day kind of thing but the Mustang is so much fun man, spin that 315 and 350 tq up and it rocks. I think the Ecoboost is more sports car than say Camaro V8 or GT V8 Muscle car.

I'm having a hard time believing this data. I'm not one to claim my EB is uber fast, but those numbers just seem plain wrong.

Awesome... welcome to the club. You can dial up that grin (to the tune of 350HP & 400TQ) with the ford performance tune!

2024 Mustang Eco-Boost Premium
This is an old thread which keeps coming out of the flames like a Phoenix!

Since buying a 2024 Eco-Boost Premium, I think I've watched every YouTube covering it, along with about every on-line magazine review. I wouldn't guess the percentages, but too many don't like it for all the wrong reasons, not the least of which is... It doesn't sound like a V8! Duh!

As for the performance data, I don't think any two sources have agreed. For example, the 0 to 60 ratings vary (depending on source) from 5.3 to 4.6 dead stock. I suspect some of this is due to the variations of axle ratios. The Premium without any extras is 3.15:1. Even at my altitude of ≈3,600 FoS, my 0 to 60 will tie the 4.6 seconds, and get well into the 14s in the quarter. With the FPT, the numbers are ≈4.1 and I've managed to get close to the 13s in the quarter. The best part is, up to about 45 ish, GTs are still burning tires trying to catch up with me. Two more items are important here.

First, the times using the dashboard timer, my Draggy, and my nearly 50 year of Trax electronic accelerometer, all agree within .1 second. And secondly, no one will match any of the aforementioned times (mine or others) without doing the dash a few dozen times. What often looks like good pavement-isn't! While sticky drag tracks help, warm tires are a necessity.

And for about the millionth time.... ECs on this 7G forum, do not get any respect! I'm sure all EC owners will agree with this expounding!

You are totally confused on what I said. What is your point? your Graph has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with what I said and why you need to run in and be Debbie downer I have no idea. 70 to 100 is a instant son. Do you have an Ecoboost and have you drove the Ecoboost? Have you drove when the Turbo is at max? Oh you don't so you show 0-100 and try to beat down owners OMG, GOD, OMG look at Robvas! 70 to 100 with the turbo spun up is mere seconds. Truly the car has to be handled because it wants to break traction. You have to man handle this ecoboost and it takes constant control. Not sure what you are driving with your graph but I am talking real world my friend this thing will spin tires at 60 mph and I have to learn new habits.

What do you drive?
I mean the 2011 V8 was weak compared to the 2025 4 turbo. 400 hp? Ouch must be a bad taste.

I am sorry I brought it up I was just shocked at how much power this little engine has at 5000 RPM. Just fun as hell.

I had to look at the graph a couple of times myself to translate what he was writing and what it said. He is basically stating....

0-70 is 6.4 seconds
0-100 is 14.6 seconds

That leaves the difference of 14.6 - 6.4 = 8.2 seconds for 70mph - 100mph.

70mph to 100mph has never taken 8 secs in my Ecoboost... a stomp on the go pedal at 70 and 100 is just a few seconds away... seems almost instant! V-8ters gonna 8...
