Dark horse, SC new parts

Well, I’m waiting for two new parts to filter down to us from the SC upgraded catalytic converters and the magnesium strut to brace that will fit the Whipplesupercharger

Why wait? It's not the same motor and not the same supercharger. It's not a direct fit. If you must try, get a hold of the parts from the previous GT500.

I thought the 5.2 has the same exterior dimensions. Also, they’re not running a Whipple no more.? that’s why I thought the brace would fit.

Never was a whipple, it’s a 2.65 Eaton unit
And the cats are 2-3/4” not 2-1/2 like 5.0

engineer Mike on mustang 6g did retrofit the cats down to a GT and they’ve held up well on his car afaik.

Oh, I was referring to the GT500. I was referring to the new dark horse SC. Hopefully they get it the same exhaust manifold as ours then maybe we could use their converters it must hold up
to 815hp

Still not a whipple on the SC either. both the 500 and the SC use the same supercharger.

the tower brace probably wont fit without a higher clearance hood like the sc has

they did change the head design i think i read for gen4 thatthe cats from gt500 and maybe gtd may fit someone will have to test

personally i want the metal paddle shifters
