So, from what I understand the standard GT premium comes with active X.

I ordered a base GT premium, but on my option list, it says it is coming with leather and not active X.

I am thinking all the seats on the FX package, are leather not Active X, from the build sheet it says:

Leather-Trimmed Plaid Perforated Seats

I know they are not normally offered on the base premium, but I am thinking they come with the FX ordered cars.

I believe you are correct. And the reason that they say "Leather-Trimmed" and not "Leather" is that they are not leather all the way around. It may be different for high-end luxury cars, but for most mainstream cars, the surface that you are sitting on is genuine leather. The sides and back of the seats are finished in synthetic leather. It looks like the real thing, but is less expensive.

It doesnt matter if its the FX package.

All premium interiors come with the Active X and leather inserts.

I believe you are mistaken. Either that, or Ford's website is wrong. If you go to the Build and Price page for the GT Premium and select no options (meaning you have the 400A package), it says the seats are ActiveX. If you select the 401A package, that changes to Leather-Trimmed. If you select the FX package (whether you have the 400A or 401A package), it says the seats are Leather-Trimmed Plaid Perforated.

I have no clue in this case, but frequently Ford’s websites are wrong. If I had to bet in this case I’d bet on AZ

Im not aware of a difference in leather trim between 400A and 401A. But that is certianly possible. When someone says GT premium my mind immediately goes to the 401A package. So to clairify, the 401A package has leather inserts and active x bolsters. Which is pretty common in any "leather interior" car.

So are you getting 400A or 401A? I thought the FX package came with 401A no?
