I was able to add a new key as well, but I have a question now. When I use the remote start, it automatically enables the wheel and seat heating. Is there any way to disable this or to enable seat cooling, for example?

I don't have my car with me right now so can't give specifics, however there are settings related to Remote Start including heated steering wheel and seats in the Sync 3 menus.

Because the key from the link in the first post doesn't ship to my country, I ordered this one: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005...st_main.5.63815c5fQvBpAo&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu
The programming of the new key went without issues and I can open and drive the car with the keyless option, but none of the buttons of the keyfob works. So assume something is wrong with the frequency (433?). I have an EU model. Any idea what's wrong here?

The two seems to be equivalent, if that's the case, neither the one I've linked would have worked for you. Before looking at what may be wrong, I would start with the FCC code printed on your (original) keyfob (it's inside the slot when you remove the physical key), does it matches?
Although it's strange that you could have programmed it, it's recognized by the transponder, but the keys aren't working (defective?).

Man, that FCC ID surely is hidden. I needed a microscope to be able to read this (oh, my old eyes...
) It's the same FCC ID M3N-A3C108397.
Maybe you're right and my keyfob from ali is just defective.... I'll look for another one. Thanks again.

Don't worry, I needed a magnify lens too to read that damn code.
I believe the only way to delete a keyfob, is to delete em all and programming from scratch. If i'm not wrong you can only program up to 3 keys simultaneously, so eventually when you'll program the new again (using the two you have), this one will be erased. In each case, to not risk anything, once you programmed a new one successfully, burn the old one in the fire!

well not full 401a. No memory seats and profiles if not mistaken..?? No wheel option, no interior option I think as well

short update: I ordered another key with the same specs on ali and this one works right away after programming. All buttons and the keyless functions work. On this new one the red LED doesn't work though. Not a big deal, but obviously there's quite some variation in quality it seems.

PS: I don't think the red led is supposed to light up... it will only bleep when the battery is low or when there's comm issues with the transponder. On that point.. are you sure you didn't used a wasted battery on the (previous) "not working" one?

I replaced the battery on the old, non-working one. Without success. On that non-working keyfob the red LED lights up, whenever a button is pressed
