I’m running the Whipple with an 24 automatic GT.I’m gonna run some sticky tires than anybody think that the GT 350 axles can handle it or should I go aftermarket and bite the bullet?

Different question beef I wanna go drag racing this weekend. Do you think I’ll need 100 octane 5 gallons thrown in? It’s got the Ford racing tune. I think I’d be safe enough for 8th mile racing.Buy once cry once on Axles itll be worth it go with G Force or DSS feel free to reach out and I can help get you setup with some Axles here at Beefcake Racing
Awesome response, question. what work have you done to your rear suspension? have you done the stop the hop kit, cradle, bushings, etc.I went GT350 axles for my 10R80 whipple car, been perfect, 1.4 60ft launches a few times, I just replaced the driver side and left the original and other 350 axle as spares.
only the driver side is different, it has 6lbs of more steel and does not have the taper where OEM tend to break.
For the casual racer they’re perfect

Nice what tires are you running out the back? I just want to San Diego. I saw a hellcat running in 305 m/t ET streets and he spun big time. Your tires look like a bias ply which hook up the best I broken the 11s. I think I had a 1.8@B229218
I did just the cradle bushings and locating dowels, I’m on steeda progressive springs
have fun, I run E30, but yeah 5 gallons of like MS109 or Sunoco 260GT will give you all the octane you need to race
That is awesome. Your car is hooking up. Nice congrats.I don’t have the 170* stat or the whipple airbox, no input on those.
Yeah 28/11/17 bias ply et street Rs. I usually can cut a low 1.5/ high 1.4 60ft just by staging and flashing the stock converter off idle.
I have a question Q, what size. rear wheel are you running in the back? Mickey Thompson bias ply doesn’t offer them in 18 or 19 inch what is the smallest wheel we can run in the back?I went GT350 axles for my 10R80 whipple car, been perfect, 1.4 60ft launches a few times, I just replaced the driver side and left the original and other 350 axle as spares.

I just bit the bullet and put in DSS 2000 hp rear axles now I don't worry at all. My DH has the HP and a Whipple ,Tremec and sticky Mickeys on the back.I’m running the Whipple with an 24 automatic GT.I’m gonna run some sticky tires than anybody think that the GT 350 axles can handle it or should I go aftermarket and bite the bullet?
See I asked around and told me I can I could not put a 17 in so they do fit
