Have a 2018 GT with 10 speed auto (think this is the first year they switched from 6 speed auto) and when you go directly from Park or Neutral to Drive there is a significant jerk. I don't know if these modern transmissions have a flywheel, but that's what it feels like when back in the good old days the flywheel would wang-bang around. Have had a '21 and '24 and they never did this. I found that if you goose the accelerator a bit before shifting it goes into drive smoothly. I'm not concerned about it. It's been 7 years, and it hasn't really been a problem, just annoying. When I attained the car in '18 I asked the dealer about it, and they said it was just a glitch in the new 10 speed. I'm just curious to know if anyone else experienced this or knows what causes it? Thank You. "Semper Fi'. VAT. P.S. I keep it because it's Royal Crimson!
