Summer Wheel / Tire opinions

Hey all, looking for some final advice before I pull the trigger on a summer setup here in Chicago area. Just sold the stock heavy wheels and Perrelli tires with 5k mile on them for $1400 on Facebook marketplace.
I have dedicated all-seasons for winter months so this will be for summer only and maybe a couple novice level track nights.
Which look better , Steeda Satin Black Trident or SVE SP2 gloss black?
And which tires
Nitto 555 g2 or Continental Extreme contact sport 02’s.
The conti’s are more money, worth it? Haven’t had Nitto’s in many years and really didn’t love them back on my 15gt
Here is the sizes I’ve decided on..
285/35r19 on 10” up front
305/35e19 on 11” rear
Standard Dark Horse non-Hp

The SP2 look good, me personally not a fan of the trident.. I was undecided between 3 LMR wheels.. R350, SP2 and DHP1 .. I went with the DHP1 in titanium graphite… and love them with the vapor blue.. 19x10 and 19x11 .. did a Firestone package with 285/35 and 325/30.. Firestones have excited my expectations but will most likely go to the Conti 02 285/35 325/30 when time comes.. good luck..

Have a look at the Pirelli P Zero PZ5's too. Rated very well on Tyre Reviews, a big leap ahead of the PZ4's Ford put on GT's.

had the 555G2s for the past couple years, they really good bang for budget tires. but if you can afford the cost, id say go with the Conti's. thats what im looking at doing later this year

Yeah; 90% I have surveyed of my friends and family have taken the SVE over Trident so far.
I would totally go with the Firestone but I don’t like that the rear diameter on the 325/30 is less than the fronts, that’s a negative rake no?

with how long youre going to have the tires, especially since youve got two sets, id say bite the bullet now and just spend the extra cash for peace of mind

Chitown keep us updated in the thread with what you eventually go with and please post pics. im between those tire brands and sizes exactly. leaning towards the continentals based purely on recommendations here on the forums.

your shops quoted you a significant difference in price between those??? the shop i went to gave me a quote for both that were only 150$ difference

Alright, decision made and order placed!
Steeda was disappointing honestly, had to beg the guy for a quote since Friday because he was busy. I’ve spent so much with them over the last 10 years I was surprised he would only take $100 off and still charge $100 shipping.
I went with the SVE SP2 and the Continental 285 & 305/35
Can’t wait!

Another interesting tidbit is that the Continental is 3bls lighter for the 285 and 4lbs lighter in the 305 than the Nitto... woah!

Conti Sport 02's are awesome. They actually hook on great asphalt on my 780 whp 2018 GT at 50 mph. 305/35/19.

Handling is also excellent.

Like them so much a put rear Conti 02's on my Whippled 2024 GT. 295/35/19.

very minor diameter difference..I don’t notice it and wanted a 325.
