That looks like ice. We had all snow here, but 12+ inches of it. My DH is in the garage until a nice day in the 50's. The only thing that works on ice is studs or chains. Cat litter is good, but only to get you out of a slick spot, not an ice covered road.

I certainly hope not. I was impressed by how the driver was keeping it centered even with almost no traction.
