Interesting thread for sure.

I've been lucky enough to own a GT350, a Whippled GT500 and a "regular" GT500. All modded, some tracked. I've enjoyed every moment with them. I was never a big DH fan but the SC...do want! I look foward to seeing spring rates, bar diameters, knuckle differences, if the carbon brakes can be swapped onto the latest GT500 (I think they can), etc. The adjustable traction control caught my interest as well.

In other words, I like what I see. I could give a shit about nomenclature, I'm hardware driven. Do I want one? I do. I've heard grumblings about ~140k pricetag though and if that insanity proves to be true my interest in the car wanes, bigtime. Still want the hardware though.

You gotta pay to play. Anyone who thinks they are gonna be less than 125K to start are dreaming.

Maybe not a 5.4, but there will for sure be 6 speeds. They’re not done quite yet.

I’m pretty confident there will be a S650 version of the GT350. Only a matter of when
you’ve already got one with the DH with 6MT, HP, & CF wheels. You’re just missing .2 Litres. Don’t think Ford will ever build a voodoo engine again.

and Dodge getting ready to shove the Hellcat back in everything, Ford might have to reconsider bringing another obtainable (non GTD) HALO stang into the lineup to keep up with the competition.
The Hellcats won't be any competition as most will weigh close to 5000 LBS.

The current TT SixPack only weighs 300lbs more than a LX redeye due to the AWD system. But yeah, they don’t handle very well from all the reviews I’ve seen. SRT will have to figure out suspension upgrades to get it on par with the last gen Cats.

what's the source of this? because i honestly don't buy it. Ford has themselves in an odd corner for pricing and power numbers, and i seriously doubt base price will be $110k. maybe it's naive optimism, but i'm thinking base price will be mid to high $80k. the price of a base GT500 in 2021 was $74,095 after destination and delivery and gas guzzler tax. in 2026 money, that's about $88k
Are you out of your mind or just dreaming? A DH now costs up to 88K. You won't be able to touch one of these new ones for less than 110k. that's with no options and NO ADM. 125 easy to start. better start looking at cheaper cars. this new one is obviously not for you.

not gonna happen. they can't do it with the hybrid platform they have, plus the awd. those days have gone.

I just watched the YouTube video posted by @fordmustangclub. lots of actual video from the press presentation. I'll be honest if I was there I probably would have been snoozing. apparently the dark horse SC was designed and engineered by a small team of monotoned unenthusiastic zombies.... I did email my dealer though to get the communication started. you know just in case

That’s a Mach 1 in my eyes. Doesn’t have to be Voodo but it can’t use the standard Coyote to be a GT350 replacement
