Thats basically a gt500 replacement with much uglier Body ..who designed this a 3 yr old ...and the price will be even more stupid ...what happened to smooth flowing sculpted body lines ..SQUARE EXHAUST TIPS REALLY !!! I will be going and getting a Z06 or a ZR1 before I plunk down a 100k a 4300lb Mustang that's shaped like a brick ..the last gt500 was atleast ok looking !!!

Did they say if its a crossplane crank? I saw 5.2L. Hopefully they are done with the flat plane crank. Not comfy with that longterm.

order banks have not actually opened yet. the order guide and price list isn't even out yet. i plan to order a Dark Horse SC as well, just hoping that the price isn't too insanely high. i'm just stuck between whether to get Argon Blue, Orange Fury, or Molten Magenta...

Correct ☝Order banks not open YET. There will be an allocation system in place for these cars, so I would suggest when the time comes you make sure the dealer you are working with can actually get an allocation, no allocation, no car.

More than likely this release will be similar to the first year GT500 release, I have no doubt there will be unscrupulous dealers looking to cash in BIG on this car and the mark ups will probably be upwards of $10-$15K or more like the GT500's. I highly doubt you will get one of these for MSRP unless Ford steps in and puts penalties on the dealers which they have been reluctant to do in the past.

I'm not sure what other NEW goodies they are putting in this car that the 25 Dark Horse Premium HP doesn't have - other than the Ford Performance Whipple SC and a factory warranty...? So the question then becomes, "Why should I pay a huge mark up on a car that is essentially a 25 Dark Horse with a Whipple - when I can Whipple my existing car for $10K - with a warranty on the stage 1 kit...?"

Depending on what the mark-ups are and availability (Time Frame on build) that question will come into play for me. Right now my name is at the top of the list at my dealers location, when or if they get an allocation.

I don't like the body at all, especially the exhaust tips. But ey, I'm pretty sure there are people who also don't like my GT, so at least there is a Mustang for everybody.

Yup - already contacted my dealer as soon as the order banks open 👍

Look at those exhaust tips -

Personally, I think the car is mostly badass.
Only things I don't like much are the exhaust tips and rear wing.
Also think the SC name is lame effort.
And since it's not offered in a manual, I'll be keeping my Tremec DH
Sure would love to see the price though

Yeah - more I'm thinking about this the more I may go the Whipple my ride route ... As, I'm betting it's going to be North of $120K then add mark ups and ... :explode:
