I have little sympathy if something happens to people fleeing cops. In most of the chase videos it ends up bad for those folks. Good riddance.

@Cz_Ziemniak .....agree 100%. When younger I used to rally several sports cars. We had to take six week ends of written and practical courses and then complete a rally course with an adjudicator present to get our rally license (participating card). To compete your car was checked for safety issues before every rally. If you displayed dangerous/stupid driving skills while rallying you got a yellow card then if repeated you were done. Later in life I acquired my offshore marine racing license which was even harder to get......but at least I knew how to handle high horsepower vehicles in a variety of situations. The idiots who race (often super high powered cars) today are usually clueless about the effects of speed and kinetic energy. They kill others while showing-off. It has become a huge problem. I like the box-ins and pit maneuvers and helicopters. Car to car Police chases are awesome to watch but very are dangerous for Police and bystanders. The following of these "influencers" leaves me bewildered. That today's youth live through others exploits concerns me - they seem to live in a totally unreal world.....and they're the next generation. God help us!

They do it a lot during and around rush hour traffic. They want the traffic to be packed just enough to squeeze their car through little gaps. It makes for good clips, and also police can't really chase in those conditions. Its their perfect conditions.

And of course they still end up getting into accidents on occasion, sometimes even with eachother.

Most clips I see around are in the afternoon.

I wonder if that explains the idiot that I saw the other day when I was heading home from work. He was driving some little lowered rice rocket... stanced, of course, with the fart can muffler sticking out at an angle. I watched him tailgate every single car he came up to in an attempt to force enough room to slide into the adjacent lane with inches to spare.
