How Much HP Can a BAP Support

I have a phase 2 Roush Supercharger on my 2024 S650 RTR.

I’m all stock besides the Roush kit, x pipe and Roush intakes. I have catless 1 7/8” Kooks LTH’s ready to go on this winter.

Considering the above mods how much horsepower can this setup support with custom tuning on 93?

If I add a boost-a-pump how much can it support on 93?

Probably no problem making all the HP you can make on 93 before you run into octane limiting your timing. It's E30 or 93+Boostane numbers that would make more power.

This is a good question for your tuner. How far do they (or you) want to push it? How much have they made on other 24/25's with a BAP?

I would be happy with 725-750 WHP and 625 lb/ft.

The horsepower is doable but your still going to be below 600lb/ft. More so in the 580-590lb/ft range from most the custom tuned Roush cars including mine that was tuned by DRP.

Yeah, 93 is your limiting factor… I’d keep it pullied for 12psi or less… bottom 700s

93 just isn’t the sauce…. Plenty of whipple cars on E30 making 850 wheel fwiw…. That’s how much more room for gains a splash of ethanol allows / cooling/ timing wise.

You can mix 2.5 gallons of E85 with 13 gallons of 93 and get 97 (assuming 100 octane on the E).

Plus the E85 will drop combustion temps a bit, thus making for a stouter street ride.

Your math is off, 2.5g of 85 will barely raise the octane mixed with 13g of 93..

13 x 93= 1209
2,5 x 100 = 250

1209 + 250 = 1459 / 15.5 = 94.1 Octane.

You'd need to run E60 if you want 97octane equivalent.

I do agree a little alcohol goes further and is cheaper than those MMT octane boosters.

You want to have 4.13 gallons of e85 to 11.37 gallons of 93 to end up with e30 which is around 97 octane

By the time it burns the spark tolerance is already out of the question isn't it?

It’s the whole point… 93 would have lit off faster/hotter under less pressure… less output.

E30 lights off slower/ cooler and with more volume, able to withstand more pressure, earlier spark advance … more output.

Does ethanol help the engine cylinder head temp or oil temp? Or real coolant temp if anybody is measuring?
