I will say I was in no way looking for a Race Red ‘25… I wanted a Dark Grey with the Midnight Pony Package or Dark Sinister Bronze package.

instead, ended being the car I could get that was spec’ed exactly the way I wanted it:

301A, Manual, PP, AE & Red Calipers.

I have fallen in love with it and I think it’s the absolute best color for this car and you’ll never get a moment of regret out of me for it!!!

Grabber Blue wasn't on my radar until I saw one in person. Then I had to have it. I had to look everywhere. There were only 3 available in the entire state!

My BIL in Southmayd has three red Mustangs and except maybe the 96, they are very noticed by law enforcement.

Car colors tend to follow cycles. White, black and silver are the safe colors, and so are usually the ones stocked by dealers for daily drivers. Mustang owners desire to stand out from the day to day drivers, and so their color choices can reflect that. Dealers study their market, and order the colors most likely to be bought off of the lot.

I’d believe that is due to driver habits not color choices. White gets the most tickets actually.

This study from the University of Iowa debunked that theory. (There are many many more online you can find)

I’ve never been pulled over more in a specific color car.

I’ve owned em all throughout my life.

EXHAUST screaming by the cop? Yup. Driving habits? Yup. Red? Never had an issue…

I've become a bit weird with colours. The last two cars I've wanted despite the colour, and the colour really grew on me in a short time.

I purchased my car in 2024 because there was no more dark matter gray metallic in 2025.

Love this color. Changes in different light.

All 3 of my Corvettes were Arctic White with a red interior. I decided to go with Vapor Blue on the Mustang just because. My wife didn't like the color when I ordered it but really liked it when she saw it in person. The older I get, the more I like bright colors on sports/muscle cars. If you like it, go for it. 👍

I've had by far, more red cars than any other color and I'll take issue with them not getting more tickets. I always run radar detectors and I'll get singled out in a line of cars with lidar and otherwise it seems almost constantly. I know that it happens so drive accordingly. Just my take and experience. I also use a detector on my silver Honda and it seems I can get away with anything. It never goes below 80 at the lowest on an interstate.
