Thanks. Pics look good. Now I just need to find a good all season tire in those measurements.

The base DH needs more tire and I wish the rear wheels were 10.5 instead of 10 in. So cheapest upgrade was to put stock rear tires on front and buy new Pirelli Pzero 305/35 for rear. I have not tracked car, but I do live in a rural area and drive aggressive. 100 plus straight cruising and high speed sweeper turns no problem. Drving over the speed limit on twisty rural roads, also no problem. Again, I have not been on a track with them, but I don't see a "floaty" problem.
You probably reduced the ability to stick to the road in turns by putting tires with too much tread on that width of wheel.

It is better to have the tread be slightly narrower than the wheel width.

If you want wider tires, and you want it actually to handle well, your lap times will be reduced by going to wider wheels for those tires.

PS - not crapping on your car.

Visually, I think it looks great, but I got my first car in the 80s, so I like the tall sidewall, fat tire stuffed in the wheel wells for drag racing look . . .

I am merely talking about track days and lap times.

This combo is within Pirelli spec's, albeit on the minimum rim size. Again, this is my daily driver and I wish Ford had put larger rear wheels on base DH. If I was going to track car, I would have different tires and wheels.

I get it - I thought you mentioned maybe tracking the car (which. you should! 😀 ), and to be honest it would track just fine with the wheels and tires you have.

It would reduce the lap times some to have wider wheels with those tires <--- only point

Looks great just the way it is in the pictures you posted.

One last question here. I just ordered 275/40r19 for all 4 corners . My car has the 9 5 on front and 10 on rear. Will this be an issue running squared setup with these wheels? Will i be able to rotate the tires, or should I call the shop and have them change it to 255 on the front?

The wheels are not only going to have different widths but different offsets due to the different track width of the front and rear of the car.

So is there a point in running square 275 then?
Not with different size/ offset rims there isnt lol. Unless you want to dismount
If you have "square" wheels, you can rotate all tires easily without dis-mounting tires.
He is literally asking about running the oem wheels which have different offsets and rim width’s. Which in that case there isnt a point to run the same size tires all around because they cannot be rotated without being dismounted. He would need to get after market wheels that have the same offsets and width.
