How on earth is traction manageable with a Whipple? Are you leaving it in normal mode with the traction control on, so it pulls power?Manual. Traction is manageable but it would be nice to hook a little better.
Putting my Dark Horse in Track or Drag (no Whipple, just the stock engine) results in zero traction until I am rolling well on down the road, even if I get the tires hot first (and they are very sticky). I cannot imagine trying to get traction with a Whipple.
I had my wife in the car and she wanted to see how well it accelerated (deserted area of a multilane highway), and she noted it was sliding all over. I got a little eager on the throttle while still under 40 mph or so from a standing start, so my fault, but I really have to exercise restraint on the throttle to get it moving.
Traction is manageable? With a Whipple?
