The Superformance Cobra’s are very well done. Built new in a factory in South Africa, they ship them to their dealers in the US. The dealer will install the engine and transmission.

They are very period correct and the casual person would think it’s a real Cobra.

I have had 3 of them, every time I sell one I want it back. LOL
I’m curious…does Superformance address the issue of room for the driver? I once sat in what I think was a Factory 5 Cobra and at 6’, I didn’t fit in it. My head was above the windshield, and my legs had no room jammed in there with the steering wheel and wide trans tunnel. it was a moment like “Don’t ever meet your heroes…lol.”

It doesn’t have to be as fast my other cars. But I do think 810hp would be just about perfect!
Do it!

And please update the thread so we can follow along.

I am supremely jealous about all of the other cars you have owned. The car in my avatar is the most expensive car I have ever owned.

Original Cobras didn't have much room for the driver. That's why many kit Cobras have a stretched version.

You're smart then because investing in a depreciating asset may be fun but you get taken to the cleaners when it comes time to trade it.

I do not assume that the original poster spent more of his income/assets as a percentage than I did on this car.

I am not even a millionaire yet. :frown:

For all we know the OP may never get out of debt or he may be a multi-billionaire that doesn't owe a dime. It doesn't matter to me. A lot of people have cool cars, live in a big house, have all the toys, etc., that also can't pay off their credit cards and never will be able to pay them off. Look at the minimum payments credit card companies will accept without bugging you. That's one reason a lot of people will die with credit card debt.

Also, being a millionaire in today's day and time isn't the big deal it used to be especially considering housing costs. The fastest way to become a millionaire, IMO, is to stay out of debt and let assets appreciate while not living above one's means. Just my opinion.

Mr GrabberB;
First of all. Amen to you.
Secondly, I hope you live to see 100+ years of age. God Bless.

P.S.
I'm an owner of a 24 DH. I also felt like it wasn't quite as fast as I expected so I supercharged mine. It's plenty fast enough now, fully exceeded my expectations.

Comment was about overall member numbers NOT HP between the cars - as in most of the folks on this forum drive GTs but of course the highly hysterical and uptight sensitive have to take it the wrong way

Yeah 99.9% of cars you buy never hold their value much less increase in value. There are some exceptions like rare Ferrari’s, McLaren F1, etc…
