I'm afraid to tell you that this post offered no information at all except an attempt to make someone feel bad for their decision. No value whatsoever. It's all over the net about how these tires wear out fast and yes, as much as it is a track ready car, who is going to drive 5000 miles on a track. A little bit of tramlining? It could be the roads here but again, well described by many as almost undriveable at times. Not everyone will like spending $3000.00 or more on tires every 5k miles, to drive on brutally maintained roads and highways. Also these tires are fairly new to the Mustang line and that decision likely had very little to do with factory engineering.I don’t know how it could be possible to beat the factory Dark Horse HP setup. I really don’t. If one cannot deal with the fairly frequent Trofeo RS replacement cost and a tiny (no kidding, not much) bit of tramlining the HP Dark Horse wasn’t the right decision for you to start with. I wouldn’t try to outguess the factory engineers in this case; you cannot!
Thanks for you input
