Isn't tire foam flammable..?
You better be careful if you are putting that in the engine bay! LOL
🔥🔥🔥
Only the propellant is flammable. I spray it on a sponge and wipe it on the plastic parts. if the plastic doesn’t melt from engine heat, how can the Tire Foam be an issue?

I’ll be right over! And yes, your car looks amazing 🤩
Thanks! bring pizza.
So, not a single product? :like:
no…lol. But I have it down to two!
Do they make a single product that can be used everywhere?
Quick Detailer could theoretically do it all. car, tires, windows, wheels. But are we so broke we can only afford one bottle of shit? :cwl:

Yeah that's it. @clarkdeal is a cheapskate. Come on man, if you want to be on this forum you need to bow down to @DFB5.0 and spend hundreds of dollars on stuff you are going to use once and then find something better. Then spend hours detailing your car only for it to rain five minutes after you're done!!!!

@clarkdeal Seems like I’m the only one that uses a one sized fits all cleaning style.

I use Optimum: https://a.co/d/1kQY0LP

1.5 caps in a bucket, spray the car with a pump sprayer, clean the car with some microfiber, spray it again, dry, then put the leftover unused back into the pump sprayer for future spot cleaning.

I use this for the exterior, windows, interior, wheels, everything. Car looks great imo.

2 Pages in a day? This is as good as oil threads🍸
Ceramic coating was the best thing I've found. I was sceptical for a long time.
I'm not fanatical with my cars ( some would disagree), I want them clean and shiny, but not so keen on putting the hours in since I got old last year.
I just like to be able to wash and dry the car and it looks like new.

My car is garage kept and I have other cars to take out on rainy days. So I don’t really wash the car, just mist with Quick Wax and wipe.

After every few drives I mist the wheels with Meguiars Quick Wax and wipe with microfiber.

Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Foam cleans and shines the tires very nicely. I apply with a sponge so there’s no sloppy overspray.

You could go in my garage right now with a white glove, run your hands over any part of my car, and come out with clean fingers.

Of all the products I have on my shelves, I have it boiled down to 4 things:
Meguiars Quick Wax
Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Foam
Car sponges
Shiny Wipes microfiber towels…or even better…these….you never felt car drying towels this soft and plush.

My friend. There are sooo many better products than what you are using.

I mean there is probably something they make that you could use everywhere....but I would prefer to use the right product for the right part.......

Bikeman said it best…I am sure there are ”better” products out there, but I like what I use.

I was literally up to 2:00 am last night researching battery tenders and deciding which is the perfect amperage to use. (I settled on 3 amp). I don’t need to research what is the best cleaner in the world. 😬

If you go over my car with a white glove, you’ll leave with a white glove. A towel won’t even stay on my flat hood, it will just glide right off…. 😎

No, there isn't one size fits all. I can wash my car, blow dry it with a leaf blower and be done with it pretty darn quick. I wax my cars and wax it with my favorite 3 or four times a year and it looks like new except when it gets dirty. This isn't rocket science though some people make it out to be. It all works fine. It's what the owner likes that counts and gets OCD over,

Just got my 2024 Eco Premium. Nicest car I’ve ever owned. And I have plenty of time to make sure she’s clean, but what singular product should I be using? Is there one? I can spend all night wiping down the engine bay, enjoying the process, but can I do better? What product do you recommend? Anything I can use preserve the prettiness? Wheels, leather, paint? Is there an all-in-one?
Realistically, no, there isn't a single product that can do every single task, just as there isn't one single material that goes into building a "rocket ship".

However, if you want to slim down your product count, a high-quality rinse-less wash concentrate has the ability to replace a bunch of application specific products into one via different dilutions. Products like Optimum No Rinse, Armour Detail Supply Hero, P&S Absolute, and McKee's N-914 will all do this safely and effectively.

So, let's say Optimum No Rinse, that one product can do all of the following -

Washing - 256:1
Waterless Washing - 128:1
Detail Spray - 16:1
Drying Aid/Gloss enhancer - 16:1
Clay Lubricant - 64:1
Glass Cleaner - 256:1
Windscreen Washer Additive - 256:1
Interior Cleaner/Detailer - 256:1
Leather Cleaner - 256:1
Engine Bay Cleaner - 128:1
Door Jamb Cleaner - 128:1

To that one single product, you would then add a wheel & tyre cleaner (P&S Brake Buster), and a tyre dressing (Carpro Perl), and that's about it. So, three products total.
