New 2025 dark horse with handling package. Im at 1100 miles or so and few times a noticed a slight hesitation or an almost stall from dead stop when press gas pedal. Im wondering if this is just break in stuff like it says it might display strange characteristics or whatever in the manual.? Has anyone else noticed anything like that? It has happened only maybe 2 or 3 times so most likely nothing just curious anyone else feel something similar?
It's an automatic transmission 2025 dark horse premium..

I had that happen on a new GT test drive before I bought my current car.

You'd give it gas and it would hesitate or barely move for a couple seconds. Happened intermittently on the test drive. Took it back to the dealer and they didn't believe me until it did the same thing for them. Super weird. The car had been sitting on the lot for sometime.

My opinion, no, it isn't "normal break-in" stuff. If it were my car, I would buy gas of a different brand from a different station. That's the first thing that comes to mind.

Just drive by wire throttle input lag. You could tune it or use a pedal commander to reduce the delay.

Mine will do this too (it’s a manual not sure about yours). It feels a LOT like a clutch delay valve. I had the same issue on my 14 challenger and once I removed it instantly felt better. I’ve been looking for a replacement clutch line for our cars (that’s where the valve is - Ford calls it some thing else) but not one makes one yet. Steeda will not fit - theirs is for the GT manual which removes it but not the tremec. I may have to get one custom made.
The issue is intermittent but its the exact behavior I’ve seen form other cars with them. If I am super aggressive I can get through it but if I do like a medium-medium hard acceleration from stop it hits.

My DH manual feels sluggish pulling out from a stop most of the time or always kind of like the timing is retarded. So last night I ordered a Soler module. Hopefully that gets rid of it.

Not sure what the OP is running but mine always gets 93 Shell.
$4.09/gal here. (There’s some other thread about gas prices)
