Damn, I went right to the back straight… came into the straight at almost 120… ripped right to 190 and peaked 199…. Sooo close to 200 on the back stretch

And you could hear the wind fighting the car… badass car, badass driver… big balls

Edit… I rewatched the GTD… it peaked @ 301kmph…. 187mph… 13mph slower

Edit… I rewatched the GTD… it peaked @ 301kmph…. 187mph… 13mph slower
Someone in the comments said that the GTD cornered faster, but that the C8 outran it in the straights. Assuming the C8 driver(s) were not top-end race drivers as was said, I suppose it's possible that the C8 could go faster in the corners. I'm not sure how much is left in the GTD.

The power and weight advantage the ZR1 has really makes the GTD even more impressive… I think people thought it was gonna be some blowout number… not the case at all

And as seen in the dragtimes vids, once that ZR1 gets hot… it slows right the F down..

Watch the rest of it. He hits 186 mph before two minutes are up in a curvy section.
