An owner of a GTD and an owner of C8 ZR1 drive each other's cars and compare notes. I've seen reviews of the GTD and almost every one of them comments on how it's a better and more comfortable road car than they expected, and this comparison is no different. They're both impressive vehicles, and I think it's cool that car companies that sell mass-produced daily-driver vehicles can also produce something like these two.

The Dragon, which they said they had driven earlier, is definitely not a good place for these cars. Unfortunately, it has become a destination now so a lot more people are getting hurt on it due to under-estimation of what it really is. These cars don't belong on it.

So the bald headed fellow said it all - GTD is unattainable, serialized, special, and therefore special to own, to have, and for re-sale values.

ZR1 anyone can have one, the spoiled punk kid next door with Daddy's cash can have one. GM produces them one after another, after another, nothing special there. I actually have an order in for one, probably will pass on it when notified - but just saying, you want, you have the cash, you can have one.

GTD - another story ...

😆 Well.........................the ZR1's interior was certainly a BOLD automotive fashion statement!

And.......................the Vette raises the bar on **** rear visibility with the resurrection of the split rear window. I guess with a 1064 HP ZR1 you need to keep your foot on the gas 😉 so being over taken by other traffic isn't an issue!

Based on the owner comments and video itself the GTD certainly seemed to be the better DD/GG of the two. HEY! Be careful; there's eggs in that sack! 😉

Not sure why you would say that. I would LOVE drive a road like that with the GTD. Unless you're just simply referring to the curse of "media-based congestion". If you have an area you like and want to preserve...you don't plaster it on social media.
