Hello from Spain,
the other day I used a full tank of fuel for the first time while monitoring consumption and mileage.
And this is what happened.
¿?🤔

What is that roughly in miles? On the highway I get ~25mpg, round town ~21mpg with the tremec.

Fuel consumption was mainly measured in the city, and indeed, fuel consumption isn't a problem, which is why I bought a Mustang.
What really caught my attention about the gas station receipt I'm showing you is the 60.7L (16.035 gal) I filled up with, when the vehicle's manual states the maximum capacity is 60.5L. So I ask myself the following question:
Did I come very close to running out of fuel on the highway?

Yes your guage says 0 probably for a good bit I have never gotten that low I try to fill up at 1/4 tank that's the generaly accepted rule for people who don't want to burn up the fuel pump

I think my LOW FUEL warning comes on at 80km. If it hits that mark I say to myself "Boy, you F'd up". The last thing I want to risk is a hard launch with no fuel and the pump somehow can't adapt.

I also use the 1/4 rule as a norm but usually when the tank is below 50%. This isn't my daily and so I don't mind stopping at a gas station to pickup a bottle of water for me and some fuel for Freyja.

I get the same mileage in my DH and it's stock
I don't have enough miles to get an accurate estimate, but these are some impressive numbers. You two must not live in very congested areas for those in town numbers.

Could really care less about my Dark Horse fuel economy.
My DH is Whippled 6spd with the HP have had it for 18 months and fuel economy has never crossed my mind. It's not an economical vehicle that's not what I bought it for.

That's interesting. You should have run out. Perhaps you got the self filling tank option unknowingly.
It's also really good economy round town.
I don't care it's a bit of a gas guzzler either. Everything enjoyable has a price.
