I’m just confused as it worked like half and hour earlier. It was sitting with my hazards on so idk if it was like a battery or safety thing. It’s all the dealer right now so I’ll have them look tomorrowI did a Google search and you may want to look into the wiring harness, or the latch may be stuck, or perhaps a problem with the electronic release mechanism.
Crawl through the back seats and pull the emergency releaseHow do you open the trunk manually? I have only ever used the key or the button in the car.
I don't know either, but there is a third button, above your license plate. But that's not manually either. How do you open the trunk manually? I have only ever used the key or the button in the car.
I had a 2020 Ecoboost before my GT. Battery died while getting wheels and tires. Trunk wouldn’t open so my guy had to crawl through the back seat and open the trunk using the manual trunk release. (Not sure how or why the battery died).Crawl through the back seats and pull the emergency release
Had to do that quite a few times on my grandpa's 300C when the battery went dead because of a phantom drain.
I imagine it's a lot more fun on the mustang
pulled the fuse myself and put it back, and now it's fine. Don't know how it happened to begin with, but it's fixedSomething probably triggered or sparked the problem. Hopefully the dealer will get you back up and running again reasonably as far as the fix and cost. Please let us know what they find. Good luck to you, my friend.
