Yeah, I feel a little dumb, but realzied why my Custom Modes weren't working properly.
You gotta select the proper drive mode, which is "Custom" on the main screen, then it activates properly.

Solved a few issues I was having.

Fair!!! Wait until you see that you can't switch between your custom modes by using the SWITCH MODE button.

If you have CUSTOM 1 and that is set as your default custom mode then that is what you get when you select CUSTOM MODE.

If you have CUSTOM 2 set as your default custom mode, then that is what you get when you select CUSTOM MODE.

Took me a few minutes to understand that as well as a few headaches!

Is there a way to have the car start with my custom profile? Or even just have it start in something other than normal mode ? My dark horse always starts in normal then I change it to sport or custom 1.. im probably missing something, complete newbi to Ford and Mustang.

You can set up to 6 custom drive profiles, but can only load one of them on your drive mode button on your steering wheel. Your car will always start in Normal Mode, so it’s a matter of always remembering to hit the steering wheel button up. The annoying thing is you have to hit the button twice. Once to activate the drive mode select option, then again to acutally select the mode you want.

On the plus side, you can disable Auto Stop in your profile, so selecting your custom drive mode saves you from having to hit yet another button to disable Auto Stop.

It will soon become habit to start the car and just hit the Drive mode up twice to get you set up to your preferred profile.

Don’t forget you can set up that star button to instantly toggle back and forth between things like 2 Exhaust modes.
