We do have ASE Certification, however you have to go out of your way to get it and as it's not required most mechanics opt not to get it so finding one in Canada is like a needle in a haystack. I was kind of thinking about going for my ASE once I get my Red Seal dealt with so I could just plop the blower on myself and keep warranty.... But I need to find a way to get the blower in the first place these tariffs have been killing all of my upgrade plans, I kinda wish I had mentioned it to the dealer at the time of purchase and financed the unit + install now.In Canada you need to go through Ford dealer because know one has an ASE certification up here as it is an American certification. I phoned Whipple and that's what they told me.
Or you could drive to Blackstock Ford in Orangeville and get 14 hours labour at $149.00 an hour.At my local Ford dealer here in Canada, they want $24,000 for a stage 1 and $5,500 labour. 22 hours labour at $250/hr. Plus 13% tax. Came out to be something wild like close to $34,000 after taxes
That would be worth the drive, as I have family that lives close enough to Orangeville. I'd have to see if the prices there are still in that ballparkOr you could drive to Blackstock Ford in Orangeville and get 14 hours labour at $149.00 an hour.
Call them and see what they are charging for a Stage 1 kit. I ordered mine before the see-saw stuff started and paid $13793.10 for the kit and $2693.92 for the labour.
