Ssssoooo.............................the gremlin/s was/were gone when I fired the GT and audio up this PM. WTHeck! I

@AZ_Ryan yes; my phone was still plugged in on restart. But, it was today too (see above). 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the tip though!

Still going to take it to the dealer next Tuesday. Won't hurt to let them bust out the Tricorder and probes to see if they can find anything and get it on my service record.......................in case.

A bad cord will give you intermittent connection issues.

Had it happen on my '23 where it the connection would only work randomly or only partially connect to certain functions. Someone said it happens when you use non Samsung cords. So I swapped out the cord, and sure enough everything worked normally.

The question remains though, why are you not using android auto, Apple car play, or Bluetooth? 🤔

The issue seems to always goes away when you are about to take it to the dealer, lol

I had a similar issue. Drove the car 12 miles, shut it down for a few minutes. I started the car, a boom was heard and no sound anywhere. I drove home and parked it. A couple of days later all was well. Not happened again.
Strange stuff.

My phone is a Samsung A12; no internet; I use pre paid minutes via ATT. My GT has never played well with my phone/music. The blue tooth works great for making and receiving calls.

Music? Not so much. A BT connection allows the GT to see my music on the phone, but it will only play about 30 seconds of the first song?! No more music for you, Wiley! 😢

“If” I can get the GT to see and communicate with the phone via USB; it sees and plays my music fine. THAT is a bit of a dance though. Not a fun one.

I’ve had a Gen Z ATT phone store Tech check out the issue for me. He graciously putzed with it for about 20 minutes and gave up; saying he had no idea why the car doesn’t play through BT, or why it has such difficulty seeing the phone via the USB cable. Tried a couple of other USB cables while I was there. No diff—same symptoms/behavior. ****ing computers!

The millennial Sales Rep who sold me my GT to me also tried to trouble shoot my issues to no avail. Did I mention ****ing computers?

Thanks for your advice and questions! 👍

Well, sounds to me like a phone issue and not the car. Good luck. 👍🏻

This just happened to me today. The thumping and passenger speaker is out. I disconnected the cable, reset the infotainment screen using the steering wheel, turned audio off and on, turned the car off and back on. Let me know if theres anything else i should try. I use wired apple carplay with a 1 month old apple cable. Hoping when I get out of work today it will be back to normal.
