Aside from letting oil seeps into the cylinder(s), what other issue or damage does it cause? Will the engine run lean, misfires?

If ur still having this smoke, maybe could foul a spark plug or clog catalytic converter. Serious misfire could hurt stuff. No fire I've seen burn valves, stick rings, blow head gaskets... but I'm NOT a coyote expert.
I think misfire or no fire would be pretty obvious at idle on the 5.0
Did you ever get anywhere with this at the dealer?

@S650sunshine ..... the main results will be plug fouling emissions control devices. There shouldn't be enough oil leakage to damage the cats - unless there is almost total bypass. Nevertheless, you should get the seals replaced.

Engine runs good. At idle everything seems in order.

When does yours happen? Mine happens after idling for about 45 minutes turning the car off for 2 hours and then starting it back up. I does not appear to happen on cold starts just after extended idling on mine.

It just does it on cold start after driving and after letting it sit for a couple hours. The car is at the dealer.

I requested them to do leak tests right away but they have to follow their procedure to duplicate the issue. They already saw it does the first time I took it there.
