Just started on the second leg of a recent 1200 mile road trip. In the video it sounds more like creaking, but in person it's more of a distinct clicking.

I eliminated anything with the boot (or pedal movement), because you can keep your foot depressed on the brake pedal, activate the electronic parking brake, and you'll get the same clicking type noise from the boot area.

This leads me to believe it's more electrical, something like a relay. I've also noticed that if I press the brake on while the gear lever is in park, I'll get a vibration in the lever.

The noise is coming from behind the boot (circled) in the attached picture. Coincidentally, my PNRDL lighting for night stopped working.

Also noting that after eight hours of driving back yesterday the noise had gone away. Wtf smh

I have an appointment Monday but would be fun to see if anyone can guess what it is.

I have that sound as well. It seems to come and go - and the reason I haven't taken to the dealership yet. Likely, they will want the car for a day or more and it won't make the sound.

You called it silex, went to take the car to my appointment today and it was (nearly) dead silent. Of course just two days ago it was making all kinds of noise on a beach road trip.

My service advisor was cool. He had me text him the video, then said any weekday you're out and it does it, just pull in and say that I'm expecting you and I'll have a tech look at it.

Helps that we literally live a mile away.

That sounds like the same noise! I've been meaning to update this thread, mine has not come back since I tried to take it to my service appointment.

Is your noise intermittent?

I noticed that this squeaky sound appears when the car is warm, on a cold car this sound is not audible.

I've noticed this too. Almost like a groan. Comes and goes.

Nope, it stopped doing it right around the time I made my service appointment, it's done at briefly maybe twice since then.

If it had continued I was going to go to the parts department and have them print out every relay or whatever that's behind that pedal.
