Took my Dark Horse to the Track for the first time!

I got the oppurtunity to run about 20-25 laps at G2 Motorsports Park in Anna, TX this weekend. Temps were in the low 30s and the track was cold cold, but I had an awesome time getting a feel for my car on the racetrack.

First time ever on this type of track, and first time running the DH all out anywhere!

Car is faster than me, it didnt miss a beat, every turn, every time i hit the brakes, every gear - it was ready and comfident. The car made me look so much less like an amateur than I felt out there.



Looking forward to more track time, as well as the Dark Horse Track Attack coming up

My wife bought me a track day and classes at the FIRM in Starke, FL for Christmas and I can’t wait to bring my Dark Horse. Glad to hear it was still fun on such a cold track!!

Awesome. What tires are you running on the cold track. The only reason I ask is I was always told not to run the summer tires any colder than 40 degrees 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was on the Trofeo RS tires that came with the handling package. I made a few warm up laps before sending it!

Damn I signed up for May 14th-15th because April showers bring May flowers. Hoping the weather will be good for the visit.

That's amazing. I'm a huge race fan but have never had the chance to track any car I've owned. I'd love to try that.

Awesome! This is what that car is meant for. If someone buys a Dark Horse and doesn't do this at least every now and again, IMHO, they wasted their money.

well done, wait for what those tires feel like when the track is hot, they will get sticky like bubble gum! Unless you're a pro, every high performance car is faster than us!

Especially, if they are the Trofeo's that come with the handling pack...supposedly they will harden and being to crack in weather less than 40 degrees.
