Still waiting for delivery, any day now, and we had our first snowflake flurries today. Reading about these Pirelli Trofeo tires and looks like you should not use them in 45 degree or lower weather. I guess thats my first order of business to replace them. Any suggestions and do I need to match the replacement with 305's in the front and 315's in rear? Appreciate any guidance.

It's going to be difficult, if not impossible, to find A/S or Winter tire in that width.

I swapped to different rims and tires on my '22. The immediate benefit is obvious: I can find tires of any kind to match the condition. A secondary benefit is preserving the factory original rims. To help compensate for the co$t, the DH tires could be sold here to another Member. Or you could continue to hold the factory rim/tire for Warmer seasons.

Michelin has an A/S 4. A very popular tire. But the closest ratios are 285 or 325, in a 19".

Continental A/S DSWs are also very popular. They have 305 and 315s, but in a 20".

Going to a Winter tire, Blizzaks (multiple variants), they appear to top out at a 285 in a 19".

Some useful tools.

Yes they do, but I have the GT Performance, not the Dark horse, so double check on the size..

I swapped to another set of rims for the winter. Finding the right size easily for the right price is the challenge. 19x9 square setup all the way around on Blizzak 255s was easiest for me. Your fitment will be the same as me so you can use this as reference. If you're not tracking through a bunch of snow you can probably go with PS4 AS. The square setup works best in the winter and you can rotate them to get your money back. Should last at least 2-3 winters.

I am having the same problem. Just received my dark horse with handling pack but I need to swap out the tires (and wheels) for winter. Is your car also a dark horse with handling pack? Would you also happen to know the offset on the wheels you ended up using? Thanks for all the info!

A follow up on the above for what I ended up doing on my Dark Horse with handling pack. I took the car to a wheel shop (Wheel and Tire Depot in Mahopac NY). They installed 19x9 with 30 mm offset rims and 255/40-19 snow tires. While the car does not look as aggressive as with the bigger tires it still looks good and drives great in the cold
