You know what I am concerned about, is they release the cars and there are still defects and recalls. Then it was all for nothing.

One major reason I can think of is a maybe software update that needs to be applied before shipping. If we’re structural I’d assume they wouldn’t have produced that many.

I’m a conspiracy theorist already but my bet is they found a problem and are doing a risk assessment to see the cost if they release the cars with a known issue. Like cost of potentia recall. No other reason makes sense to me. When you find a problem the first thing you do is ”hold” to determine risk. That’s what this is…cost of correcting vs cost to let them roll. My bet is they will release after bean counters determine financial risk so Ford can hedge the liability. All this bs about Ford caring about quality now vs before I just don’t buy.
